In the clip, Vance pretended to be a police officer, stating, "So I've heard that in the state of Michigan they have outlawed patchy beards. Get in, patriots. We're gonna go arrest Abdul El-Sayed." The video concluded with a montage of Vance performing vice presidential duties. In an interview with TMZ on September 18, El-Sayed fired back at the Vice President. He questioned whether Vance's beard is real, asking, "How much paste did you have to put on your face to get that little weak beard?" El-Sayed then alleged that Vance is "juiced up on testosterone replacement therapy," adding, "I'm all natural, bro."
