Egypt wins African volleyball title, Olympic spot

Egypt claimed its fourth African women's volleyball title on September 5, 2026, defeating host nation Kenya in straight sets in the final of the 2026 African Women's Volleyball Championship in Nairobi. The hosts pushed hard in the opening set but were unable to overcome service reception issues and a disciplined Egyptian block.
