Dunamu and Visa Partner to Explore Stablecoin Payments

Dunamu, the operator of South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, and global payments giant Visa have announced a strategic partnership to jointly explore the development of stablecoin-based payment services, international remittances, and artificial intelligence-driven financial tools. The agreement, signed by Visa's Asia-Pacific entity, was presented by the companies' chief executives at Visa's Global Market Support Center in San Francisco on August 26, 2026. The partnership aims to combine Dunamu's digital asset infrastructure with Visa's global payment network.
