A historic West End theatre in London will be renamed in honour of the late playwright Sir Tom Stoppard, its owner announced on July 1, 2026. The Duke of York’s Theatre on St. Martin’s Lane will become the Tom Stoppard Theatre, creating a lasting tribute to the acclaimed writer who died in November 2025.
