Dublin city centre disruption: Emergency services on scene

Major disruption is affecting Dublin city centre on Tuesday morning, September 8, 2026, following an incident near Trinity College that has led to road closures and significant public transport delays. Dublin Fire Brigade is on the scene at the bottom of Grafton Street, opposite the college, where emergency services have been tasked. The incident has caused the closure of the road, with diversions in place. Both Dublin Bus and Luas services are experiencing substantial disruptions.
