Dua Lipa, Tame Impala, Fred Again.. reportedly in talks for Coachella 2027
Dua Lipa and Tame Impala are reportedly in talks to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2027, with Fred Again.. also expected to perform in a prominent role, according to multiple industry reports. The festival is scheduled for April 9-11 and April 16-18, 2027, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The reports, which cite the industry publication Hits Daily Double, indicate that Lipa and Tame Impala are the frontrunners for two of the festival's top-billed headline slots. Fred Again.. is said to be in contention for the special "Returning to the Desert" position, a slot that traditionally appears separately at the bottom of the festival poster. A fourth major headline position remains open, with several high-profile artists reportedly being pursued. Among those being considered for the remaining slot are BTS, SZA, Oasis, and Radiohead. Sources indicate that SZA is currently considered more likely to secure the position than Oasis or Radiohead. Miley Cyrus was also approached for a headline role but reportedly declined the offer. If the reports prove accurate, the festival would mark Dua Lipa's first-ever appearance as a solo artist at Coachella.
