DragonForce Announce Self-Titled Album With New Vocalists

DragonForce announced a self-titled tenth studio album, their first with vocalists Alissa White-Gluz and Alessio Garavello, due March 19, 2027 through Napalm Records. Alongside the announcement, the band released a new single and performance video, "Hunger of the Beast." The album marks a significant lineup change for the group. Garavello steps in for longtime singer Marc Hudson, who is temporarily stepping back from band duties because of an ongoing issue with tinnitus. White-Gluz, who became the band's first frontwoman this past spring after a decade fronting Arch Enemy, shares vocal duties. Rhythm guitarist Billy Wilkins also joins the lineup alongside founding members Herman Li and Sam Totman, drummer Gee Anzalone, and bassist Alicia Vigil. The record was produced by Jens Bogren and recorded across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Sweden, according to the announcement. It is the band's first self-titled release. Li said the band approaches each album as a fresh creative statement.
