Dogecoin Rebounds to $0.10 as Trading Activity Rises

Published 23 September 2026

Dogecoin rose from roughly $0.08 in mid-September to around $0.10 on September 22 and 23, a rebound that brought the cryptocurrency back to a level it had not reached since early June, according to market data cited in reports. Estimates of its seven-day gain varied from about 13% to 25%, reflecting different measurement windows and reporting times. The rally gathered pace after DOGE traded near $0.08 on September 15 and 16, then moved higher through the following week. On September 21, it briefly traded above $0.09, and by September 22 and 23 it was near the psychologically significant $0.10 mark. The evidence does not establish a single comparable weekly return across all reporting periods. Trading activity also increased as the price climbed. CoinGlass figures cited in reports put DOGE futures open interest at about $1.64 billion to $1.67 billion, with derivatives turnover reported between roughly $3.05 billion and $5.02 billion. These figures describe active derivatives positioning and trading, but open interest includes both long and short positions and does not by itself show that traders broadly expected prices to rise.
