A new teaser trailer released for the upcoming season reveals Dexter Morgan, portrayed again by Michael C. Hall, navigating a complex and dangerous landscape in New York City. The new season finds Dexter caught between two formidable killers. One is described as a seasoned serial killer with decades of notoriety and a lifetime of kills, while the other is a fresh, young terrorizing force in the city. Adding to his challenges, Dexter is also grappling with a new, unexpected enemy: a midlife crisis. His son, Harrison, played by Jack Alcott, continues his own path toward justice, setting the stage for father and son to face what is described as their darkest chapter yet. Several new actors are joining the "Dexter: Resurrection" universe for its second season. Brian Cox and Dan Stevens are among the new cast members, reportedly portraying serial killers.
