Delhi School Bus Driver Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault of 3-Year-Old

A three-year-old nursery student at a private school in Delhi's Bawana area was allegedly sexually assaulted by a school bus driver, police said on Monday, August 31. The accused, identified as Vikas, who had been driving the school bus for approximately eight months, has been arrested. The incident came to light on August 19 after the child's family noticed injuries to her private parts. When her mother questioned her about the injuries, the child spoke about a "bad uncle" at the school who used to give her chocolates. Since the child did not know the accused's name, the parents approached the school administration for help.
