Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh visit temple ahead of second child

Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh visited Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday to seek blessings as they prepare to welcome their second child. The couple, who are expecting their second baby, arrived at the temple in traditional attire, with Deepika wearing a colorful, embroidered salwar kameez and Ranveer in a purple kurta with white pyjamas. They were accompanied by Ranveer's parents and were surrounded by fans and security personnel. The visit on September 18, 2026, mirrors a similar ritual the couple performed before the birth of their first child, daughter Dua, in September 2024. The couple has largely kept their family life private, sharing only occasional glimpses of their daughter. They announced their second pregnancy in April 2026. A day before the temple visit, on September 17, Ranveer Singh was also seen at the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati pandal during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. He visited the pandal alone, dressed in a white kurta, and greeted fans who had gathered there. Deepika Padukone is reportedly due to give birth in September 2026, though the exact date has not been officially confirmed.
