Danone USA recalls So Delicious frozen dessert over stone contamination

Danone USA is voluntarily recalling So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster NonDairy Frozen Dessert pints due to the potential presence of small stones and other hard objects in the cashew inclusions. The company announced the recall on Tuesday, September 16, 2026, following customer complaints. The recall applies to pint containers with best-by dates on or before April 3, 2028. The affected product was distributed to retail stores nationwide. No other So Delicious Dairy Free flavors or products are included in the recall. This marks the second recall for the same product and reason in less than a year. The previous recall occurred in December 2025. The earlier recall was designated by the Food and Drug Administration as a Class II recall, its second-highest risk category, which involves products that may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health effects. That recall affected 4,665,608 units. The company stated it has identified and corrected the issue. "We know this is not the quality you expect from us," the company said on its website. "So Delicious Dairy Free is working swiftly with retail partners to remove the impacted product from shelves.
