Ramirez, known for his role in "Top Gun: Maverick," will appear in a supporting role, though specific details about his character are being kept confidential. The film is a feature adaptation of the classic 1980s television series, directed by Joseph Kosinski. Jordan will portray undercover detective Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs, while Butler will play his partner, James "Sonny" Crockett. The story is set in mid-1980s Miami and is inspired by the pilot episode and first season of the original show, exploring the city's glamour, corruption, and criminal underworld. The screenplay is written by Dan Gilroy, based on an earlier draft by Eric Warren Singer. Ramirez is the latest addition to a cast that also includes Alden Ehrenreich, Camila Morrone, and Whitney Peak.
