Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 Adds Quests and Dual-Wielding

CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.5 adds two quests, dual-wielding for power pistols and revolvers, customizable hand cyberware and cross-platform mod support. The studio announced the update for October 22, 2026, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version expected to follow in the days after the main release. One of the new quests, Clampdown, is set before the events of Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2. Players can unlock it after completing The Heist and two gigs for Wakako, then waiting for a message from her. The quest includes a five-piece gear set based on the character King. The update also adds the HKGN 102.0 FM radio station, with music from the Edgerunners series. Welcome to Paradise sends players on a guided tour of Night City narrated by its founder, Richard Night, as they investigate a mystery. It unlocks after players complete The Heist and reach level 15 Street Cred. The update also adds 12 Minor Arcana Tarot cards to discover around the city, as part of an extension to the Fool on the Hill quest.
