Crypto.com Nadex Registers With SEC for Stock Futures
Crypto.com's U.S. derivatives exchange, Nadex, has registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission to trade security futures, marking a significant step toward offering single-stock futures to American traders. The registration, filed on September 14, 2026, became effective immediately upon submission, with the SEC formally acknowledging receipt on September 16. The filing was made by North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc., doing business as Crypto.com Derivatives North America, which operates under the OG.com brand. Nadex is already regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a designated contract market and derivatives clearing organization. The SEC registration allows the exchange to list security futures products under Section 6(g) of the Securities Exchange Act. Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek stated the company is also working with both the SEC and CFTC to offer single-stock perpetual futures in the U.S. "We are working with the SEC and the CFTC to offer singlestock perps in the U.S., which will combine the innovations of the digital asset markets with the U.S. capital markets," Marszalek wrote.
