CrowdStrike and Nvidia Launch SafeMind AI Cybersecurity System

CrowdStrike and Nvidia have jointly launched SafeMind, a new artificial intelligence cybersecurity system designed to autonomously identify and remediate digital threats at machine speed. The announcement was made on Tuesday, September 1, at CrowdStrike's Fal.Con 2026 conference in Las Vegas, where Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang joined CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz on stage to unveil the platform. SafeMind represents what the companies describe as the first complete agentic system for cybersecurity, built specifically for defenders. It operates natively within CrowdStrike's Falcon platform and consists of two purpose-built AI models working in a continuous feedback loop. The offensive model, Red Tempest, emulates adversaries to find attack paths within a digital replica of an organization's environment. The defensive model, Blue Solano, then learns from these simulated attacks to deploy protections and close those paths. The system is powered by Nvidia's open Nemotron models, which CrowdStrike fine-tuned using its own threat intelligence, sensor telemetry, and 15 years of incident response data.
