Sega has unveiled the first gameplay of Crazy Taxi World Tour's multiplayer mode during the Gamescom Opening Night Live event on August 26, 2026, confirming the long-awaited revival of the chaotic driving series is on track for a 2027 release. The new trailer showcased a competitive mode called Pickup Race, where up to six players race across an open-world map to earn the most cash by delivering passengers. The reveal provided the most substantial look yet at the game's multiplayer, which will be available for testing in a closed network test beginning September 11, 2026.
