Court Orders NDLEA to Produce KC Luxury Over Detention

A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to produce detained social media influencer and businessman Afolabi Kazeem Michael, popularly known as KC Luxury, before the court. The order was issued on Thursday, August 27, 2026, following a fundamental rights application filed on his behalf, challenging his continued detention without a formal charge. Justice Friday Ogazi directed the NDLEA to respond to the application and show cause why Michael should not be released or admitted to bail. The court ordered that the agency be served with the necessary legal documents within four working days and file its response within five days of service.
