Coros launches Pace 4 Pro running watch at $449

Coros launched its Pace 4 Pro running watch on September 22, pricing it at $449 in the United States, £389 in the United Kingdom and AU$779 in Australia. The watch pairs a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a titanium bezel and sapphire glass, while Coros rates its battery for up to 60 hours of GPS tracking. The display has a 466-by-466 resolution and a claimed peak brightness of 3,500 nits, making it the largest and brightest screen Coros has put on a watch. The device weighs 43 grams with a nylon band and measures 11.8 millimeters thick. It also includes 32 gigabytes of storage and offline maps, with street and trail names, points of interest and turn-by-turn navigation. Coros says the Pace 4 Pro can last up to 21 days in daily-use mode, or seven days with the display always on. For GPS tracking, the company claims up to 60 hours in High GPS mode. Published specifications differ slightly on always-on GPS use: some list up to 46 hours, while another gives 45 hours. The watch is also rated for up to 40 hours in dual-frequency Max GPS mode. The watch adds a fourth-generation optical heart-rate sensor, dual-frequency GPS, ECG hardware, a barometric altimeter and a thermometer.
