Coroner rules cosmetic procedure caused influencer death
Igho Tiny Ubiribo, a British-Nigerian influencer and businessman, died on March 6, 2026, after suffering a fatal pulmonary embolism following a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure in Thailand. A UK coroner has ruled that the treatment directly caused the embolism, which occurred while Ubiribo was on a luxury vacation with his wife in Bangkok. The 43-year-old, who was also known online as Ego and Denisi, underwent the procedure at an unnamed clinic in Bangkok in early March. According to an inquest at Inner West London Coroners Court, doctors injected 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine into his penis. Following the treatment, Ubiribo and his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, returned to their Marriott hotel, where they went for a massage. During the appointment, Ubiribo began experiencing chest pain and passed out twice. He was rushed by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital. At the hospital, Ubiribo was initially able to respond to medical staff. His wife informed doctors about the recent filler injections, which raised concerns about a potential link to his condition.
