Cobolli rallies from two sets down to win at U.S. Open
Flavio Cobolli staged a remarkable comeback from two sets down to defeat Argentina's Francisco Comesana in a grueling five-set first-round match at the U.S. Open on Tuesday. The fifth-seeded Italian, who is also the recent French Open runner-up, prevailed 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 in a contest that lasted over four hours at Louis Armstrong Stadium in New York. The match began under a closed roof due to rain, which had already disrupted the tournament schedule. Comesana, ranked 119th in the world, dominated the early stages, breaking Cobolli's serve multiple times to take the first two sets comfortably.
