Clothing tag helps identify woman found dead in Bengaluru

Police in Bengaluru have arrested Sagar Chandra Rawat in connection with the alleged killing of his wife, Anusuya Behara, after investigators used a clothing tag to help identify her decomposed body, found in a vacant site on September 2. Police say Rawat confessed during questioning; the supplied accounts do not independently establish the allegation, and reports differ on when the body was dumped. Workers clearing the site in Agrahara Layout alerted police after finding the body, which was wrapped in bedding and tied with rope, according to police accounts and local residents.
