Clancy and Wife to Address Attacks in 60 Minutes Interview

Published 18 September 2026

Patrick Clancy and his new wife, Dr. Rachel Danis, are scheduled to give a joint interview on "60 Minutes" set to air Sunday, September 20, 2026. The interview marks Clancy's first public statement since the mistrial of his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy, for the murder of their three children, and aims to address the baseless conspiracy theories and defamation he has endured. In promotional clips released by CBS News, Patrick Clancy told correspondent Ross Douthat that he continues to communicate with his deceased children. "I talk to them," he said, explaining that he often says, "Help me. All the time." Dr. Rachel Danis, an infertility specialist, defended her husband in a separate clip, calling him "the most selfless father and supportive partner" and stating, "I don't understand how the story has been so twisted." She described their first encounter: "I was just a girl that met a guy running in Central Park on a really cold Saturday. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that." The couple met while running in Central Park and married in April 2026 at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park.
