CJP plans Delhi march as police cite no permission

The Cockroach Janata Party has announced plans for a protest march in New Delhi on September 5, a move that has prompted Delhi Police to begin security preparations even as officials state that no formal permission has been sought for the event. The march is scheduled to proceed from India Gate to the Delhi Police Headquarters on Jai Singh Road, a distance of approximately 2.5 kilometres. According to the party, the demonstration is expected to be led by families of students who died by suicide following the cancellation and subsequent retest of the NEET examination, as well as individuals who allege they were subjected to police excesses during a previous agitation.
