Circular has unveiled its latest smart ring series, the Ring 3, featuring two models that integrate contactless payment capabilities and haptic alerts alongside advanced health tracking. The new lineup, announced at IFA 2026 in Berlin, includes the Circular Ring 3 Pro and the more compact Circular Ring 3 Slim. Both devices aim to merge everyday utility with comprehensive wellness monitoring. A key innovation across both Ring 3 models is the inclusion of NFC technology for contactless payments, allowing users to make purchases by tapping their ring against compatible terminals. This feature supports Visa and Mastercard transactions, enabling users to leave their phones or wallets behind for quick transactions. Additionally, both rings incorporate a vibration motor for discreet alerts. These haptic feedback functions can be used for silent wakeup alarms, medication reminders, vital health alerts, and guided breathing exercises, a feature that returns after being absent in the previous generation. The Circular Ring 3 Pro offers a more extensive suite of health monitoring features.
