Circle and Tereina plan stablecoin integration for SAP

Published 7 October 2026

Circle and Tereina announced plans to integrate the USDC and EURC stablecoins into eligible SAP payment workflows, allowing businesses to send and receive the digital currencies through enterprise applications they already use. The companies said customer proof-of-value programs are planned over the coming months, but did not name participants or provide a timetable for full commercial deployment. The integration is intended to connect Circle’s stablecoins with SAP Pay and SAP Cloud ERP through Tereina’s payment infrastructure. USDC is intended for eligible dollar-denominated payments, while EURC would serve euro-denominated transactions. The companies said the arrangement is designed to let businesses access stablecoin payments within existing financial operations, rather than requiring a separate application. The planned programs will test the integration with customers, including for global payments and treasury operations, according to the companies. They have not disclosed how many businesses will participate, the expected transaction volume or when testing will be completed. The announcement does not establish that customer trials or commercial payments have begun.
