Chelsea rally from two goals down to beat Leeds 6-3

Chelsea staged a dramatic second-half comeback to defeat Leeds United 6-3 at Stamford Bridge and advance to the Carabao Cup fourth round. The Blues trailed by two goals before halftime and early in the second half, but a series of tactical substitutions and a flurry of goals secured their progression. Leeds took a surprise lead in the 23rd minute through Tarik Muharemovic, who headed home from a corner. The Championship side doubled their advantage just three minutes after the interval when Brenden Aaronson finished a move initiated by Ethan Ampadu. The scoreline put Chelsea, who had made nine changes from their previous Premier League match, in danger of an early cup exit. However, manager Xabi Alonso responded by introducing four substitutes at halftime, including Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto, Morgan Rogers, and Reece James. This change proved pivotal. Palmer quickly halved the deficit from the penalty spot after Pep Chavarria was fouled, and just two minutes later, he drew Chelsea level with his second goal. Chelsea's momentum surged as Pedro Neto put them ahead with a curling shot from 20 yards in the 60th minute. Danny Welbeck then extended the lead, scoring his first of two goals.
