Charlie Kirk Statue at TPUSA Phoenix HQ Vandalized With Red Paint

A bronze statue of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Turning Point USA's Phoenix headquarters was vandalized with red spray paint early Sunday, three days after its unveiling to mark the first anniversary of his assassination. The eight-foot statue, located near 48th Street and Beverly Road, was found with red paint streaked across its neck, face, and hand, and a frowning face drawn on its torso. A nearby memorial sign was also defaced, with the word "Jesus" and a cross image crossed out and "Satan" apparently scrawled on it. Phoenix police responded to reports of vandalism around 8:09 a.m. on Sunday, September 13, and are investigating. No arrests have been made, and no suspect descriptions have been released. The statue was unveiled on Thursday, September 10, to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Kirk's death. He was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Utah on September 10, 2025. Turning Point USA stated it would restore the statue and replace the damaged signs. The organization said it is reviewing footage of the incident and working with law enforcement to identify those responsible.
