Capcom Releases Dragon's Dogma 2 Performance Patch, Details Dark Arisen Expansion

Capcom has released a major performance update for Dragon's Dogma 2 and detailed new features for its upcoming Dark Arisen expansion, which is set to launch on October 9. The update, Patch 3.2, addresses long-standing performance issues across all platforms, while the expansion will introduce a new snowy region, a relic-based gear system, and additional gameplay options. The performance patch, released on September 2, has been widely praised by players for significantly improving the game's frame rate and stability. Reports from the community and testing show substantial gains, with some PC players experiencing a jump from around 30 frames per second on low settings to 60 FPS on high settings. The improvements extend to consoles and the Steam Deck, where the game now runs at a more playable 30 FPS or higher. Capcom has also lowered the minimum PC system requirements on the game's Steam page, reflecting the optimization work.
