Brosnan calls MobLand feud rumours a storm in a teacup

Pierce Brosnan has dismissed reports of a behind-the-scenes feud involving his MobLand co-star Tom Hardy, describing the speculation as a storm in a teacup ahead of the show's second season. Speaking at the Season 2 premiere in central London, the 73-year-old actor, who reprises his role as mob boss Conrad Harrigan, told the Press Association that the cast remained united despite months of headlines about on-set tension. Oh my God, it was a storm in a teacup, really, he said. I love the dude. I love Tom Hardy. I'm a massive fan of the man's work. Truly. We are rock solid as a company, as a family. Brosnan added that the fast pace of production left little time for socialising, saying everyone shows up for work and that before you know it, you've done 10 episodes. Hardy, 48, was reportedly accused of keeping co-stars waiting on set and clashing with the show's creative leadership over script disagreements. Reports during filming suggested he might not return for a third season, though he was not axed, and Dame Helen Mirren at one point posted a supportive picture of him to quell the rumours.
