Brittany Cartwright Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against Jax Taylor

Brittany Cartwright has been granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, following allegations of a long-term pattern of domestic violence. The order, issued by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge on August 28, 2026, requires Taylor to stay at least 100 yards away from Cartwright, her home, her vehicle, and their son’s school. The legal action stems from a request filed by Cartwright on August 27, in which she detailed nearly a decade of alleged abuse. In court documents, the 37-year-old reality star accused Taylor, 47, of exhibiting "coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence.
