British Woman Dies After Stabbing at German Train Station

A 31-year-old British woman has died after being stabbed at a railway station in Rosenheim, Germany, in the early hours of Sunday, August 30, 2026. The attack occurred at approximately 12:50 a.m. local time at the Rosenheim train station, a major transport hub in Upper Bavaria. A 27-year-old German man from the nearby district of FĂĽrstenfeldbruck was arrested at the scene by federal police officers. Emergency services responded to reports of a woman being assaulted with a blade. She was transported to a nearby hospital with severe injuries but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The suspect was detained immediately following the incident.
