British man fatally shot in Washington state homicide investigation

Jamie Thomas Stephen Lomas died from multiple gunshot wounds at a residence in Lake Youngs, approximately 17 miles from Seattle, on August 22. The King County Sheriff's Office confirmed the death is being treated as a murder, with detectives from Seattle's major crimes unit now leading the inquiry. The incident began when deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a home on the 23000 block of 156 Avenue SE at approximately 12:20 p.m. on August 22. Upon arrival, they secured the scene and discovered Lomas with fatal injuries.
