Brighton thrash Coventry 5-0 to go fourth

Brighton & Hove Albion secured a commanding 5-0 victory over Coventry City on Sunday, moving into the top four of the Premier League while leaving their opponents rooted to the bottom of the table without a point or a goal. The win at the Coventry Building Society Arena was sealed by five different scorers, with Charalampos Kostoulas opening the scoring in the 35th minute. Malick Yalcouye doubled the lead shortly after the break, and the match turned decisively in the 53rd minute when Coventry striker Taiwo Awoniyi was sent off for violent conduct following an elbow on Brighton's Maxim De Cuyper, a decision confirmed by VAR.
