Brad Pitt calls Swift-Kelce wedding 'of the century'

Published 17 September 2026

Brad Pitt described Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden as "the wedding of the century," offering new details about the star-studded celebration. The actor, who attended with girlfriend Ines de Ramon, told Entertainment Tonight the event lasted between 10 and 12 hours and featured a strict no-phone policy. Pitt, 62, shared his experience during a red carpet interview at the premiere of his film Heart Of The Beast in Franklin, Tennessee, on September 17. He recalled the scale of the celebration, noting that at one point he lost de Ramon on the crowded dance floor. "It was so thoughtful and well planned and really moving and great fun," Pitt said. "But it was big, and yeah, at one point, I lost her in the melee, on the dance floor." He clarified that the separation was brief, as there was always someone nearby who could point him in the right direction. The wedding, which took place on July 3, transformed the New York City arena into a garden-themed venue. Swift and Kelce, both 36, exchanged vows that reportedly lasted approximately 20 minutes each, with both wearing custom Christian Dior Haute Couture.
