Boy injured in crocodile attack discharged from hospital

A three-year-old boy who was seriously injured after being thrown into a crocodile enclosure at a UK zoo has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home, his family announced on August 24. The child, who has not been named, underwent seven surgical procedures following the incident at Johnsons of Old Hurst, near Huntingdon, on June 18. The boy fell approximately 15 feet into the enclosure and was attacked by at least one crocodile before a zoo staff member intervened to rescue him. His family expressed gratitude for the quick actions of the zoo employees who provided lifesaving assistance.
