Bluesky has introduced a new account-level setting that allows users to prevent their posts from appearing in the platform's algorithmic Discover feed, a move designed to give individuals more control over their visibility and reduce the risk of unintended viral exposure. The feature, which rolled out on Thursday, August 27, 2026, comes just one day after the social network added support for longer video uploads. The toggle, found within the Privacy and Security settings, is labeled "Ask apps to hide my posts from algorithmic recommendations.
