BlackRock Leads $217M Bitcoin ETF Rebound as Altcoin Funds Extend Streaks
BlackRock led a strong rebound in Bitcoin exchange-traded funds on September 1, driving $216.7 million in net inflows that reversed the previous session's outflows and capped a robust month for cryptocurrency investment products. The recovery in Bitcoin funds was accompanied by continued momentum in Ether, XRP, and Solana ETFs, which extended their multi-session inflow streaks. The daily inflow into Bitcoin ETFs reversed the $201.8 million in withdrawals recorded on August 29, which had interrupted a nine-session run that brought more than $3 billion into the category. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) was the primary driver, accounting for $205.9 million of the day's total, or roughly 95 percent. Other funds contributing to the inflow included Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust with $9.24 million, Fidelity's FBTC with $6.88 million, Bitwise'sBITB with $4.29 million, and Morgan Stanley's MSBT with $3.62 million. VanEck's HODL was the only fund to record outflows, at $13.41 million. The session pushed the combined net assets of Bitcoin ETFs to $99.61 billion, within reach of the $100 billion milestone.
