Bitwise Solana ETF Surpasses $1 Billion in Assets

Published 31 August 2026

Bitwise's Solana staking exchange-traded fund has become the first Solana-focused ETF to surpass $1 billion in assets under management, a milestone reached on August 28, 2026, just ten months after its launch. The achievement underscores the growing institutional demand for regulated Solana exposure, even as the underlying token's price remains significantly below its all-time high. The fund, trading under the ticker BSOL, held approximately 9.33 million SOL valued at around $1.018 billion as of August 26, 2026. This represents more than 50% of the total assets under management across all Solana ETFs on the market. The product has captured roughly 79% of cumulative net flows into the Solana ETF category, which has seen total inflows of approximately $1.26 billion. Competing products, such as Grayscale's GSOL and Fidelity's FSOL, trail by a wide margin. A key feature driving BSOL's appeal is its staking component. The fund stakes approximately 96% of its holdings, generating a net staking reward rate of 5.80% that is passed through to shareholders. This yield provides a potential cushion for investors during periods of price volatility.
