Bitmine Discloses $91M Stake in Eightco Holdings Inc.

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has disclosed a significant $91 million stake in Eightco Holdings Inc. (ORBS), drawing fresh market attention to the latter company. The disclosure places Eightco among Bitmine's selected strategic investments within its broader portfolio, which was valued at $15.7 billion as of September 7. This move highlights Bitmine's ongoing strategy of accumulating digital assets and making strategic equity investments. Bitmine's corporate balance sheet, as of September 7, includes substantial cryptocurrency holdings, cash, and marketable securities. The company reported holding 5,929,198 Ether (ETH), valued at approximately $14.8 billion, alongside 211 Bitcoin. This ETH treasury represents about 4.9% of the cryptocurrency's total supply, bringing Bitmine close to its stated goal of owning 5% of all ETH. Bitmine has consistently acquired ETH weekly since launching its treasury accumulation strategy on June 30, 2025. Further details reveal that approximately 85% of Bitmine's ETH holdings, totaling 5,067,309 tokens, are staked. This staking activity is projected to generate around $330 million in annualized revenue, based on current seven-day yield assumptions.
