Bitcoin ETFs See Largest Outflow in Two Months
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced their largest single-day net outflow in nearly two months on September 10, extending a three-day selling streak that erased a significant portion of recent gains. The funds saw $282.6 million in net withdrawals on the day, bringing the cumulative outflow over three consecutive trading sessions to approximately $449 million. The selling was broad-based across major issuers. ARK 21Shares' ARKB led the September 10 outflows with about $164 million, followed by Grayscale's GBTC with $36 million and Fidelity's FBTC with $33.6 million. BlackRock's IBIT also recorded $24.5 million in net withdrawals. Morgan Stanley's MSBT was the only Bitcoin ETF to post a positive flow, attracting roughly $4 million. The three-day outflow streak, which began on September 8, partially reversed a strong period of institutional investment. The withdrawals erased about 4.4% of the $3.8 billion in net inflows recorded during the funds' strongest three-week period of 2026. Total net assets under management across all Bitcoin ETFs stand at approximately $97.5 billion.
