Bitcoin ETFs End Inflow Streak With $463M Weekly Outflows
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $462.7 million in net outflows for the week ending September 11, 2026, ending a three-week streak of positive inflows. The weekly reversal was driven by four consecutive days of withdrawals, with the largest single-day outflow of $282.7 million occurring on Thursday, September 11. The outflows were concentrated among the market's largest funds. The ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF led with $234.2 million in weekly redemptions, followed by Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust ETF with $129.1 million. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund saw outflows of $52.5 million and $50.7 million, respectively. Despite the weekly selling, Bitcoin ETFs maintained a positive cumulative inflow for September, holding approximately $307.3 million in net inflows for the month through September 11. The reversal occurred as Bitcoin's price struggled below the $80,000 level, trading near $77,900 on Monday, September 15. In a contrasting trend, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs attracted approximately $196.9 million in net inflows during the same week.
