Binance Launches Physically Settled Options on 1,000 U.S. Stocks and ETFs
Binance has launched a new service allowing eligible users outside the United States to trade physically settled options on more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds. The product, which went live on September 1, 2026, marks a significant expansion of the cryptocurrency exchange's traditional finance offerings. The service enables users to purchase call and put options on major equities such as Tesla and Nvidia, as well as a wide range of ETFs. Unlike cash-settled derivatives, these contracts are physically settled, meaning that when an option is exercised, the buyer receives or delivers the actual underlying shares. These shares are held in custody by U.S.-regulated Alpaca Securities on behalf of Binance users. The launch is facilitated through a partnership with Nest Trading Limited, an introducing broker regulated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market. Alpaca Securities serves as the U.S. clearing broker and custodian. This structure keeps securities execution and custody within regulated brokerage entities while allowing customers to access the service from a Binance account.
