Beats launches sweat-resistant Beats 360 gym headphones

Beats has launched the Beats 360, its first over-ear headphones to carry an official IPX4 sweat and water resistance rating, positioning the $349.99 model as a gym-ready alternative to workout earbuds. The headphones feature removable Performance Knit cushions designed to wick moisture away from the ears and can be cleaned after a session. Optional UltraPlush cushions are offered for everyday listening, and Beats says sensors detect which cushions are installed and automatically adjust the tuning. Cushion kits are available in a range of colors and materials, allowing owners to swap both ear and headband cushions. The Beats 360 are rated for up to 32 hours of listening time with active noise cancellation and personalized spatial audio enabled, and the battery is replaceable. Apple said the headphones integrate across both Apple and Android ecosystems, with features including automatic device switching, Find My support, Fast Pair, and physical buttons on the earcups rather than touch controls. Orders opened on September 22 at $349.99 through Apple's website and major retailers, with in-store availability beginning September 24. Walmart has discounted preorders by $20.
