Bangladesh has appointed Litton Das as its new captain for One-Day International cricket, consolidating white-ball leadership ahead of next year's World Cup. The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the decision on July 29, replacing all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who had led the ODI side since June 2025.
