Bad Bunny Halftime Show Wins Seven Emmys

Published 6 September 2026

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX Halftime Show has earned seven Emmy Awards, becoming the most decorated Super Bowl halftime performance in Emmy history. The awards were presented Saturday night, September 5, 2026, at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny, which was nominated for nine awards, secured victories in categories including Outstanding Variety Special Live, Outstanding Music Direction, Outstanding Choreography for Variety or Reality Programming, Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Special, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special, Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Special, and Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special. This haul makes Bad Bunny an Emmy winner for the performance he headlined and produced. It also marks the second time a Super Bowl halftime show has won the top program Emmy, following the 2022 performance featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and 50 Cent, which won three awards. Bad Bunny’s show surpassed that record.
