Aston Martin reveals comfort-focused 2027 DBX GT
Aston Martin has introduced the 2027 DBX GT, a new version of its luxury SUV that prioritizes cabin comfort and a quieter ride while retaining the 717-horsepower V8 used in the DBX S. The company says customer deliveries are expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, but has not announced pricing. The DBX GT uses a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 producing 717 horsepower and 900 newton-meters of torque, or 664 pound-feet, according to the reported specifications. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Aston Martin says the model retains the DBX S’s performance; reports give differing acceleration figures because they use different measures, including 0 to 60 mph and 0 to 62 mph. The GT’s changes are intended to make the SUV more refined than its sport-focused siblings. Aston Martin says the front and rear seats have added cushioning and memory foam, with revised contours and bolstering. Additional sound insulation in areas including the doors, wheel arches and rear cargo area is intended to reduce cabin noise. The company also says the model has a distinct suspension setup, while reports describe revised dampers.
