Apple is expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 at a special press event on September 9, 2026, according to multiple reports. The new wearables are anticipated to feature incremental upgrades, including a return of the ceramic case option and enhanced health tracking capabilities, rather than a major design overhaul. The most significant external change appears to be the reintroduction of a ceramic case for the Series 12. Apple has tested both white and dark gray ceramic finishes, reminiscent of the high-end Edition model from 2017. Alongside the new case material, the company is preparing many new band colors and configurations.
