Anker SleepLab Pro tracks sleep with radar
Anker has introduced the SleepLab Pro, a new bedside speaker designed to monitor sleep patterns using radar technology without requiring users to wear any devices. The company unveiled the speaker at the IFA 2026 technology trade show in Berlin as part of a broader lineup of sleep-focused products. The SleepLab Pro employs 60GHz millimeterwave radar to sense subtle movements, heart rate, and breathing patterns from a distance. This allows it to track the four recognized stages of sleep. Anker states the device is capable of distinguishing an individual user's data even when two people share the same bed. Beyond tracking, the speaker functions as a sleep aid, playing personalized audio designed to help users fall asleep and stay asleep. It includes over 180 built-in sounds, five research-backed modes, and a 28-day program to help users identify optimal breathing rhythms. The device also features guided breathing exercises, multicolor ambient lighting for relaxation, and a sunrise-style lighting effect for waking. Anker has emphasized that the SleepLab Pro does not require a paid subscription for its core sleep-tracking and audio features.
