Ananta, a free-to-play open-world RPG with an anime aesthetic, will launch worldwide on January 15, 2027, for PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. Publisher NetEase and developer Naked Rain announced the release date during the Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase on August 25, 2026, accompanied by a new trailer. The game, formerly known as Project Mugen, has been in development for several years and has attracted significant pre-registration interest, with over 17 million people already signed up.
